Compositional criteria developed from and for digital photography.
Unlike the edges of analog photographs, which must be defined or left irregular when printed, the edges of digital photographs are originally straight and permanent. In order to create compositional criteria specific to digital photography, I took stake in this significant difference and developed a set of spatial relationships based on the integrity of digital edges.
I developed these spatial relationships within P0CD0SS10 and Angier Elementary. In Angier Elementary, they enabled me to create compositions with interlocking networks of forms that could be accurately reassembled. In P0CD0SS10, they helped me create photographs with point-and-shoot digital cameras that challenged my ability to accurately point and shoot.
